Children and their families supported through the program

01

Context

Ability Tree is a nonprofit that serves families affected by disability. It offers practical support, respite care, and community connections, along with leisure activities, therapy services, and educational resources, so everyone feels valued and included.

02

What I did

As a volunteer, I helped create the MVP program: a space where children with disabilities take part in recreational activities alongside their classmates, building joy and independence.

03

Result

More than 25 children and their families felt the support of the program.

04

What it taught me

I saw firsthand how much belonging matters. The experience strengthened my compassion, teamwork, and commitment to community engagement, and those values show up in how I work with clients and teams.
